POSITION SUMMARY:
Assemble and test hydraulic pump, motors, and components. Operates in a lean manufacturing environment, follow standard operating policies and procedures recommended for improvements in the production flow, equipment, and working conditions.
SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assembles pumps, motors, valves, controls, and subassemblies using required parts and components in a cost-effective manner to conform to installation and performance.
- Testing
- Troubleshooting
- Follows standard work instructions.
- Provide specific technical training to fellow employees within the department.
- Quoting
- Configuring work orders
- Provide technical support to supporting departments such as Remanufacturing and Quote for Repair
- Mechanically inclined and able to work independently.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to showcase vast hydraulic knowledge extending over serval product lines and technologies.
- Proven track record of high-level trouble shooting skills
- Ability to repair units making part quality decisions during process.
- Sound SAP skills
- Advanced critical thinking skills
- Proficient with both micrometers and caliper measuring tools.
- Ability to read interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Attention to detail.
