Senior Electrical Engineer

Position Summary

This experienced (3-5 years) engineer will help launch new electronic product lines with OE and aftermarket automotive customers and will be responsible for the turbocharger test stand and functional testers. This position is highly visible within a rapidly growing business unit and company.

 

Job Duties

Prepare technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems, or topographical maps to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements.

  • Confer with engineers and technicians to develop & implement electronic actuators repair process and to develop and validate new test stands.

  • Co-develop/implement turbo actuator remanufacturing processes.

  • Design, implement, maintain, or improve electrical instruments, equipment, components, products, or systems for commercial and industrial purposes.

  • Compile data and write reports regarding existing or potential electrical engineering studies or projects.

  • Prepare specifications for purchases of materials or equipment.

 

Qualifications/Competencies:

  • 3-5 years of work experience as an Electrical Engineer.

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering,

  • Expert knowledge in using different tools for computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) to control machinery and machine tools in the creation, modification, analysis, or optimization as part of the manufacturing processes of workpieces.

  • Experience in testing protocols that enable a variety of analyses of electronic systems, products, and components.

  • Robust knowledge in Electrical Engineering and Engineering design principles.

  • Strong experience in understanding electronic circuit board design and being able to arrive at new designs in LabView.

  • Experience with CAN data collection and processing.

  • Experience with understanding design drawings detailing the design of products, tools, and engineering systems.
