POSITION SUMMARY:

Assemble and test hydraulic pump, motors, and components. Operates in a lean manufacturing environment, follow standard operating policies and procedures recommended for improvements in the production flow, equipment, and working conditions.

SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assembles pumps, motors, valves, controls, and subassemblies using required parts and components in a cost-effective manner to conform to installation and performance.
• Testing
• Troubleshooting
• Follows standard work instructions.
• Provide specific technical training to fellow employees within the department.
• Quoting
• Configuring work orders
• Provide technical support to supporting departments such as Remanufacturing and Quote for Repair
• Mechanically inclined and able to work independently.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to showcase vast hydraulic knowledge extending over serval product lines and technologies.
• Proven track record of high-level trouble shooting skills
• Ability to repair units making part quality decisions during process.
• Sound SAP skills
• Advanced critical thinking skills
• Proficient with both micrometers and caliper measuring tools.
• Ability to read interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Attention to detail.
