Position Overview

We are searching for a Material Handler to join our team! This role requires experience operating a hi-lo in a production or warehouse environment.

Job Summary

• Utilize hi-lo / pallet jacks to load, unload, move, stack, stage and count product materials
• Performing inventory counts for accuracy and discrepancies
• Shipping and receiving duties as assigned
• Use radio frequency equipment for picking, receiving and put-a-way
• Safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and equipment
• Perform order filler and checker duties
• Maintain equipment and perform pre-operation checks according to policy
• Excellent attendance and punctuality for an hourly role
• Handle any minor tasks related to the duties of the position

• Follow all safety, health and cleanliness procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Minimum qualifications

• Lift 30 pounds
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Proven experience as a Hi-Lo Driver in a production environment, Shipping Material Handler, Inventory Specialist or similar and ability to obtain internal hi-lo certification.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical fitness and the ability to work in various environmental conditions.
• Safety-conscious and familiar with relevant safety standards and protocols.
